A WiFi QR code lets anyone connect to your network by scanning a code with their phone — no password typing, no awkward "it's capital-S, lowercase-m, number-3..." moments. It works on every modern iPhone and Android, and takes about 30 seconds to create.

Open the WiFi QR code generator
Go to our WiFi QR code page or use the WiFi tab on the main generator.
Enter your network name (SSID)
This is the name of your WiFi network as it appears on devices. It's case-sensitive — "MyNetwork" and "mynetwork" are different.
Enter your WiFi password
Your password is encoded directly into the QR code and processed entirely in your browser — it never reaches our servers.
Select your security type
Most modern routers use WPA/WPA2. If you're not sure, try WPA first — it works for WPA2 and WPA3 as well. Select WEP only for older routers.
Download as SVG or PNG
For printing (restaurant table cards, Airbnb welcome guides, office signage), download as SVG for perfect quality at any size. For digital sharing, PNG works great.
All QR codes are generated locally in your browser. Your WiFi password is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

- Home offices — Guest network QR code on the fridge so visitors can connect without asking.
- Events and conferences — Printed at registration or on signage throughout the venue.
- Retail stores — Customer WiFi access without involving staff.
